What to do this Christmas break? Drop the mall. Go to the park and stroll!

After our Christmas party with our homeschool group last Sunday, we decided to take a walk and drop by at the newly renovated Legazpi Active Park. We wanted to spend a few minutes just walking (running for Rio) and enjoy the cool Sunday afternoon at the park.

Why do we love parks?

It’s a break.

Spending time in parks will give our families the break we all deserve!

There are also studies that confirm the health benefits of exposing kids to green spaces. They engage in physical activities such as playing and running around the park, which keep their mind and body more active.

It’s free. No entrance fee and unlimited free play for Rio and his friends. They can just run around and have unstructured play. One to sawa!

But based from our experience, hindi ito kailangan. Kids love parks because they can play whatever they want.  Mag-slide, magtakbuhan at magpaikot-ikot lang. Super happy na sila.

Ano pang hinihintay n’yo mga momshies. Break the mall monotony! Enjoy free play with your kids at the parks!

Mga momshies, we're looking for green spaces, parks in the South (Alabang-Muntinlupa) area. Any recommendations? Thanks for reading!
